June 3rd, 2006 – Indonesia will be experiencing its first ever, proper international dance/indie music festival with the introduction of Embassy Playground. A total of 10 international names and 60 artists/performers of high caliber, will be performing on 5 areas in the home of Embassy Club Jakarta’s area, Taman Ria Senayan Complex.

For 12 hours straight, starting from 4PM, Embassy Club and Taman Ria Senayan will be transformed into a musical playground where indie, rock, electro, new wave, disco, nu-jazz, broken beat, drum n’ bass, hip-hop and Rn’B rub shoulders with house, progressive, techno, trance and anything in between.

The inauguration year of Embassy Playground will see acts as diverse and interesting as US trance king Christopher Lawrence, legendary psychedelic live performers Rabbit in the Moon, house veteran Doc Martin, veteran rave DJ Donald Glaude, electro-house-rocker prodigies Coburn, Broken-beat forward thinker DJ Seiji of Bugz in the Attic, the multi-talented entertainers The Cuban Brothers among its line-ups. With its commitments to create the best experience of coming to a music festival.

Embassy Playground will be hosting a number international indie talents in the sunset session alongside local favorites
   White Shoes and the Couples Company, The Adams, homogenic, Polyester Embassy and a brand-new collaboration by Goodnight Electric vs. The Upstairs, while looking towards the evening the rest of the international headliners will be joined by the local scene's best talents and a slew of Embassy's resident DJs from all 4 cities' outlets, as Jakarta residents 1man, Remy Irwan and Miko will be unrevealing their brand new Dex n' Fx set. The beautiful Vika Kova, a Russian MC from Holland will also join us in hosting all 4 stages throughout the festival.

To ensure that the maximum festival experience is achieved, a number of stalls selling food, drinks, merchandise, massage services and fortune telling. Chill-out, resting areas are also present throughout the site to ensure that the level of comfort is highly maintained.

Embassy Playground is delivering a true International Music Festival Experience on Jakarta’s doorstep, it will unite music lovers from all over the archipelago and the region with its unique combination of Artists, Performances and Atmosphere
