audwin, my friend who lives in melbourne, came to indonesia last friday. he is one of my friends since junior high. it's been a long time that i haven't met him. the last time he came to indonesia was about 2 years ago when he gathered about 70 peeps from our class. last saturday night, audwin, satip, and me went out. audwin was in the mood to have mie tek tek but satip suggested to take nasi gila. we drove to jl. lombok and those two boys were enjoying their nasgorgil while i felt a bit guilty to my body for taking sate kambing and steamed rice. we continued our night out to vizta sarinah which is on the 13th floor of sarinah building. this karaoke opens 24 hours, weew... who would do a karaoke on 3 AM ? too bad there were only 3 of us but we had fun though the music clips weren't as good as the ones in nav. we spent about 2 hours singing and screaming until our throats started to get hurt.
kafe pisa is our next destination as we were tired of singing and prefer to see a live music. unfortunately the bar was full and i was a bit angry because of a rude & snob behaviour from one of the guy who sat on the bar. finally we decided to go to front row, senayan. suprisingly, you can even count the guests who were sitting there. the band was not good, so we decided not to stay too long.
sunday afternoon, audwin and i had another appointment with our classmates. almost 20 people made a mess in gloria jeans, EX. what a luvly sunday coffee break which ended up with a seafood dinner in 212, klp gading. the last time i met my friends was about 1 year ago. though we graduated 10 years ago, but we still have a very good relationship. compare to my friends from senior high & college, i feel more comfortable with my friends from junior high.
